Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (CMCA) has started a community group called Alcohol Awareness Community Team Influencing Our Neighbors (AACTION). AACTION focuses on reducing underage drinking in Jackson County by implementing and assisting in such activities as:
- Parents Who Host Lose the Most
- Town Hall Meetings
- Social Hosting Ordinances
- Alcohol compliance checks
- Sticker Shock cost of buying for minors campaign
- Fun alcohol free events for teens
- and much more.
